Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center (HC3)
Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center (HC3) is a municipal hazardous-waste program in Dallas. They accept electronics including computers and cell phones, batteries (all household batteries, rechargeable, and lithium-ion), and paint products such as latex paint, oil-based paint, and paint thinners. Cost: Free for Dallas residents (show proof of address). Hours: Tue 9 AM-7:30 PM; Wed-Thu 8:30 AM-5 PM; 2nd & 4th Sat 9 AM-3 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. Regional Home Chemical Collection Center (HC3) operated by Dallas County. The primary HHW drop-off for Dallas residents. Also hosts BOPA (Batteries, Oil, Paint, Antifreeze) mobile collection events at rotating locations. Accepts computers and cell phones on site. Note: TVs and appliances not accepted here — use city transfer stations for electronics. Restrictions: For residents of Dallas and participating Dallas County member cities only. Free for Dallas residents; non-member cities pay $95 minimum waste mgmt fee. No business/commercial waste. No appliances, TVs, or microwaves. No containers larger than 5 gallons. Quantity limits: Residential quantities; 25 gal BOPA items max per household per day; 50 lb battery max.
