Metro Nashville HHW Collection is a municipal hazardous-waste program in Nashville. They accept batteries (alkaline (aa, aaa, c, d, 9v), rechargeable (nicd, nimh, li-ion), and button cell) and paint products such as latex paint (15 gal limit), oil-based paint, and paint thinners. Cost: Free for Davidson County residents. Hours: Mon-Sat 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. Metro Nashville's main HHW facility adjacent to East Convenience Center. Free for Davidson County residents. Accepts batteries, paint, pesticides, automotive fluids, and all household hazardous waste. Also available at Ezell Pike Convenience Center. Restrictions: Residential waste only. Davidson County ID required. Limit 15 gallons or 100 pounds total HHW. Quantity limits: 15 gallons / 100 lbs.
