Metro South Transfer Station & Household Hazardous Waste Facility is a municipal hazardous-waste program in Oregon City, part of the Portland metro. They accept electronics including computers, monitors, printers, and tvs, batteries (all household batteries, automotive batteries, and rechargeable), and paint products such as latex paint, oil-based paint, and paint thinners. Cost: Free for HHW, electronics, mattresses. Garbage/yard debris: $35-47 minimum. Hours: HHW: Daily 9 AM - 4 PM | Transfer Station: Daily 7 AM - 7 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. Metro South serves the southern Portland metro (Clackamas County, Oregon City area). Co-located HHW facility and transfer station (managed by Recology Portland). Free electronics under Oregon E-Cycles, free HHW, free mattresses. Restrictions: Residential only for HHW. E-Cycles limit 7 electronics per day. 35 gallons max HHW. No business waste without permit.
