SLCo Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center (Sandy) is a municipal hazardous-waste program in Sandy, part of the Salt Lake City metro. They accept batteries (household batteries, automotive batteries, and rechargeable) and paint products such as latex paint, oil-based paint, and paint thinners. Cost: Free for Salt Lake County residents. Hours: Mon-Fri 8 AM - 5 PM, Sat 8 AM - 2 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. Dedicated HHW collection center in the Sandy area of Salt Lake County. Does NOT accept electronics or computers. For paint and battery recycling for South Valley residents. Restrictions: Salt Lake County residents only. No commercial/industrial waste.
